2026 New Years Goals

Welcome to that time of year! Where everyone has goals they want to commit to. I’m pretty bad at actually committing to my goals, so I am hoping writing them down with an audience in mind will give me some accountability.

What I want to do:

Bee better at lettering. I have been a graphic designer of 10 years starting next year and I have yet to really commit to designing good lettering. I will do some online tutorials and start practicing! Depending on how good they turn out maybe towards the end of the year you’ll see stickers with nicer lettering on them.

Make more stickers. Simple as that. I think I will stick with 2 designs a month that can potentially be great sticker candidates! This goal would double my current list of products easily! I’ve already got so many ideas I just need to make them come true.

Make more than just stickers. I have tried to get into the stationary side of it that would pair well with stickers but I don’t think the right topic is hitting with that audience and I think I am a bit bummed by it. There are other products I can look into that might be cheaper in price to produce, maybe even try to produce the product myself.

Grow the audience. I was on Etsy for 2 whole years and I still plan on being on Etsy for the sake of the algorithm and the customers that see my rating and a way to drive traffic to my shop. The problem I have with Etsy that a lot of other artists have is the way to connect to your audience and there’s no way to show off your brand. I want to be able to talk with everyone and build a community of people who love art, journaling, or just sticking art on your things. I want to hear your suggestions of what you’d like to see me do.
