Nine Inch Nails Peel It Back Tour - Jacksonville, FL

January felt too long and I had actually made 3 stickers which is way ahead of schedule while I was moving to a new place, taking cats to vets, and going to a full time job (Yes I work full-time and do this on the side). February on the other hand feels like it is going WAY too fast, only really getting 1 sticker sheet done (does this count as 6 stickers though?), and going to a fucking awesome concert.

Peel It Back Tour

My husband, father-in-law, and I went to go see Nine Inch Nails in Jacksonville beginning of Feb. and it was so good. My husband is a huge fan and it’s his first time getting to see NIN live. We got pretty decent seats close to both stages. We did notice signs around the concert for flashing lights and they weren’t kidding, my husband right after the show said it was an “assault on all the senses”. If you happen to be sensitive to flashing lights in that nature I might recommend passing this opportunity.

Boys Noize opened and also did some of the songs on the set list and to start. Our opinion, and I guess feedback (because we are so qualified to give it) was that the music was great, however, there was no breathing room in between songs. It was making his time on stage in the beginning feel a bit long. It did get us excited and happy to just vibe.

When NIN came on I wasn’t expecting to see Trent on the smaller stage first and it was quite cool to watch. Where we were sitting was the top right of the stage, so we had a clear view of everything. Something I could not help to find humorous during the show, is when they switch from the smaller stage to the bigger one, they would have to quickly shuffle in between songs.

Here’s what played.

Small Stage:

(You Made It Feel Like) Home

The Line Begins to Blur

Piggy (Nothing Can Stop Me Now)

shuffle shuffle shuffle

Main Stage:

Wish

March of the Pigs (Lots of white flashing lights, lots of fun with a recovering retinal detachment lol)

Reptile

Heresy

Copy of A

Gave Up

Small Stage (w/ Boys Noize):

She’s Gone Away

Closer

The Warning

As Alive as You Need Me to Be

Main Stage:

The Hand That Feeds

Head Like a Hole

This didn’t happen in Jacksonville, but ever since the concert I’ve been seeing a ton of short form videos of the Santa crowdsurfing and making Trent crack 💀

It’s gonna be like a Nine Inch Nails concert that goes on forever.
